The English Pharmacy white paper - 'Pharmacy in England. Building on Strengths - Delivering the Future' highlights the importance of pharmacy's contribution to public health and in particular, its role in health improvement and how it can play a more active role in community leadership and sustainable development.

Sustainable development means taking action to protect the planet for the sake of future generations. But to be effective it requires everyone to think 'greener' and requires a range of activities at different levels - which pharmacists are well placed to help deliver.

The resources here are intended to provide pharmacists and their staff with background information to help them to lead by example. There are 3 pdfs -
